President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the international festival “Nauryz Fest”, held on Abay Square in Almaty. The event united under one shanyrak the culture and traditions of the countries celebrating Nauryz - Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Mongolia and Bashkortostan. Foreign guests presented their works of decorative and applied art, traditions and customs, and sang folk songs. A FAIR OF KAZAKHSTAN PUBLISHERS WAS HELD ON ARBAT SQUARE
The fair, organized by the Almaty Libraries as part of the Nauryz celebration, became a real holiday for all reading lovers. During the three-day celebration, everyone was able to purchase books on a variety of topics and genres - from classic literature to modern bestsellers with special discounts. Among the fair participants were such well-known publishing houses as “Mazmundama”, “Kasym”, “Kazyna”, “Steppe & World”, “Otbasy”, “Marfubooks”, “Qyr balasy”, “Alqa Publishing”, “Tiri Kitap”, “Abay”, “Ziyat”, “Kitapal”, “Amalbooks” and others. On the eve of the Nauryz holiday, an event for children was held in library No. 30
On March 14, children's library No. 30, together with students of school No. 32, held a festive evening “Torlet, Nauryz, saltanatty saltymyz,” dedicated to the celebration of the Great Nauryz. The main goal of the event was to instill in children a sense of patriotism and an understanding of national traditions and customs. During the holiday, children had the opportunity to get acquainted with the peculiarities of the national culture, learn about traditional games and entertainment, and also try delicious national dishes.
