Almaty Libraries implement the government policy in the field of culture and education through active development and improvement of the city's library system, as well as ensuring residents' access to literary and informational resources.
The positioning of our organization is centered around readers' orientation towards obtaining new cultural information, products, and a full range of services at each department, regardless of the type of activity. The library is envisioned as the "third place," a center for socio-cultural interaction that attracts users in their search for information, promotes reading, and serves as a communication hub for various segments of the population. It is an accessible intellectual "platform" for self-development and creative growth.
