ALATAU CREATIVE HUB

Alatau Creative Hub is a modern cultural space that combines a library, coworking area, and art center for residents and visitors of Almaty.
History and Concept
The center was opened on December 15, 2020, as part of the Almaty Creative Strategy, with the participation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Its main goal is to transform the library into an open urban platform that attracts creative individuals and the intellectual community.
During the second session of the National Kurultai in Turkestan (June 17, 2023), the President announced an initiative to create libraries operating 24/7. In response, Alatau Creative Hub transitioned to round-the-clock service in September 2023.
The center welcomes more than 430,000 visitors annually.
Modern Technologies
The hub has implemented an RFID system (radio-frequency identification), which includes:
- RFID gates
- Self-service terminal
Additionally, the center is equipped with specialized workstations featuring software and hardware solutions that support audio output and a Braille display, ensuring accessibility for people with special needs.
Alatau Creative Hub is a space for new ideas, creativity, and knowledge, open to everyone!
