A FAIR OF KAZAKHSTAN PUBLISHERS WAS HELD ON ARBAT SQUARE

The fair, organized by the Almaty Libraries as part of the Nauryz celebration, became a real holiday for all reading lovers. During the three-day celebration, everyone was able to purchase books on a variety of topics and genres – from classic literature to modern bestsellers with special discounts.

Among the fair participants were such well-known publishing houses as “Mazmundama”, “Kasym”, “Kazyna”, “Steppe & World”, “Otbasy”, “Marfubooks”, “Qyr balasy”, “Alqa Publishing”, “Tiri Kitap”, “Abay”, “Ziyat”, “Kitapal”, “Amalbooks” and others.

During the book exhibition from March 21 to 23, discounts from 10-40% on books from various publishers were available upon presentation of a library card from Almaty Libraries.

Remote registration of readers was also provided.

Almaty libraries conducted a number of educational and entertainment programs for city residents. The entire city came alive with the bright colors and positive energy brought by books and literary works.
