ADVISOR TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN VISITED THE LIBRARIES OF ALMATY

Today, as part of his working visit to Almaty, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Malik Nurzhanuly Otarbayev, visited the Libraries of Almaty, where he met with employees and got acquainted with the work of one of the branches, which switched to round-the-clock operation.

The tour was an opportunity for the guest to see in practice the successful implementation of initiatives for the development of librarianship in the cultural capital. Malik Otarbayev expressed gratitude for the successes achieved and conveyed words of deep support from the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich, who attaches special importance to the development of libraries.

The staff of the Almaty Libraries, in turn, stressed the importance of state support in the implementation of innovative projects and initiatives aimed at expanding the range of library services and increasing accessibility for residents of the metropolis. The meeting also became a platform for discussing promising ideas and proposals for improving the work of libraries, which aroused the interest of the guest.
The Director of Libraries of Almaty noted that thanks to the support of the Akimat of the city, comfortable conditions are created for readers of all ages and interests, which contributes to the formation of an educated and culturally developed society.

During the visit, it was proposed to prepare projects for consideration at the state level, which opens up new prospects for further improving the library infrastructure and expanding its impact on the educational environment of the city.
