ALMA KITAP 2023 FESTIVAL: A CELEBRATION OF BOOKS AND CULTURE IN ALMATY

On September 14, a bright and unforgettable event took place in the Library No. 29 of Almaty — the Alma Kitap 2023 festival. This book fair, an exhibition dedicated to the City Day, turned the celebration into a unique event for everyone who appreciates literature and culture.

During the event, a festive program was organized with the participation of vocal performances, various quests and games, a competition for the best drawings was held, and there was also a distribution of apples as a symbol of the city of Almaty.

A wide selection of literary works of various genres were presented at the book fair-exhibition: from classics to modern literature. Visitors were able to find and purchase books of interest to them, as well as meet with authors and leading literary experts who added their knowledge and experience.

The event was attended by representatives of the creative intelligentsia and experts in the field of literature: journalist Kali Sarsenbay, writer and translator Abdildabek Salykbay and others.

The main purpose of the event is to promote cultural development and exchange in the Kazakh society.
