“School of Young Writers” project

On March 3, the Culture Department of Almaty city launched a project in collaboration with the Centralized Library System of Almaty and the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan called “School of Young Writers”. The aim of the project is to support and develop creative youth. Literary evenings of poets and writers, book presentations were held in 4 branches of the library system: Zhambyl State Academic Drama Theater, the Library of Kazakhstani Writers, as well as branches No. 4 and No.6. Works by members of the “School of Young Writers” were published in republican publications such as “Ulan”, “Akzhelken”, “Kazak Adebiyeti” under the heading “School of Young Writers”, as well as in a separate collection.
