Qanysh zhane ǵylymi maidan

The book analyzes the personality and life path of Kanysh Satpayev, as well as his heroic achievements in science, through the lens of existential analysis. Special attention is given to the history and accomplishments of the Kazakh Academy of Sciences, founded in 1946. It also provides information about Satpayev’s scientific colleagues on the “scientific front”: M. Auezov, Zh. Shayakhmetov, Sh. Shokin, Sh. Yesenov, E. Boketov, E. Ysmailov, and B. Kenzhebayev. This book differs from other publications about Kanysh Satpayev in that it does not aim to present a full biography of the figure. Some of Satpayev’s decisions and actions are interpreted through existential analysis, ontology, logotherapy, and phenomenological methods. The book is intended for readers interested in Kazakh culture, knowledge, and the lives of nationally significant figures.
