“Almaty – center of Culture and Art”

On September 13, a festive event on the theme “Almaty – Center of Culture and Art” dedicated to the City Day was held in the Library of Kazakhstani Writers. The event was attended by poet, member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan Bayan Beketova, poet, member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, laureate of the Youth Prize of Kazakhstan, participant of the December events in Almaty Amangazy Karipzhanov, poet, teacher-journalist, laureate of the International Literary Prize “Alash” Abubakir Kairan, laureate of the youth prize “Serper” Yerzhan Zhumabek, a figure of the Kazakh art, film director, singer Gazizkhan Adilkhanov. Book exhibition: “Asem kala, aru kala Almaty!” meeting with writers, bookcrossing “Take a book as a gift”, exhibition of young artists “Tan kalamyn kelbetine, Almaty!”, master class – “Sheber koldar”, drawing contest – “City of a thousand colors”, competitions in drawing on asphalt – “My favorite city is Almaty!”, sports games – “Altyn saka” (games of asyk, tug of war, chess, checkers, togyzkumalak, circle games, etc.)
At the end of the evening, active participants of the event were awarded letters of thanks.
