ALMATY LIBRARIES AND THE NATIONAL LIBRARY SIGNED A MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION

A meeting between the leadership of the Almaty Libraries Meiram Bektembaev and the National Library Bakytzhamal Ospanova took place at the Central City Library named after A.P. Chekhov. After discussing important aspects of cooperation and the further development of libraries, it was decided to enter into a mutually beneficial alliance.

Meiram Bektembayev presented his colleagues with the improved work of current city libraries and showed the latest achievements using the example of the A.P. Chekhov Library, where the latest library technologies are successfully functioning.

The purpose of this cooperation is to create a system of effective information exchange, support and development of reading and the implementation of joint projects.
