CREATING A CULTURAL BRIDGE: KAZAKHSTAN AND TAJIKISTAN

In our world, where ties are getting closer, the exchange of culture and friendship between nations are becoming more important than ever. In the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, within the framework of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, today we witnessed a unique event — a round table that brought together representatives of the cultural spheres of two fraternal countries.
The Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Askhat Razdykovich Oralov, as well as the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ms. Zulfiya Davlatzoda, were present, along with prominent members of the Writers’ Union of both countries.
The purpose of this event was to create a cultural bridge between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan in order to deepen cultural exchange and promote deeper mutual understanding and cooperation. We discussed important aspects of mutual cooperation in the development of culture.
One of the key points is the exchange of experience in the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage. Ways to strengthen ties between museums, archives and libraries were discussed in order to preserve and pass on to future generations the richness of our cultural and historical identity.
The event also became a platform for presenting new initiatives in the field of culture, art and literature. We talked about the exchange of literary works, joint cultural events and festivals.
The hospitality and warmth with which Kazakhstanis and Tajiks met each other symbolized their readiness for close and productive cooperation.
