Kitap Fest Book Fair to Be Held on Zhibek Zholy Avenue for City Day

On September 19–20, Almaty will host the Kitap Fest Book Fair at Arbat Square as part of the City Day celebrations. The event is organized by the city libraries with the support of the Department of Culture.

The main goal of the event is to increase interest in reading among city residents, promote a culture of reading, and make books more accessible to the public.

As part of Kitap Fest, a book fair featuring more than 60 publishing houses will be held, along with meetings with poets and writers at the dedicated Writers’ Tent.

We invite everyone to join us at Arbat Square on September 19–20, from 10:00 to 18:00.
