The Libraries of Almaty Discussed the Collection «Әділетті қоғамға – шыншыл сөз»

The Libraries of Almaty hosted a series of meetings dedicated to discussing the collection of selected reflections and statements by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, «Әділетті қоғамға – шыншыл сөз».
The main objective of the events was to introduce readers to the topical issues addressed in the work of the Head of State, discuss the key ideas and provisions of the book, and examine their significance for the development of modern society.
The events were held at the Library of Writers of Kazakhstan, the A.P. Chekhov Central City Library, Alatau Creative Hub, the M. Auezov Library, Libraries No. 14 and No. 29, as well as at the libraries located at 1B Belgeler Street and 247/7 Rozybakiev Street.
The events were attended by representatives of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan, prominent writers and public figures, scholars and cultural professionals, historians, political scientists, veterans, young people, and library readers.
The meetings were held in the formats of an information session, discussion platform, roundtable, and book presentation. Participants discussed issues of justice, openness, integrity, the rule of law, civic responsibility, the value of education and work, national values, youth policy, public dialogue, and public administration. Particular attention was paid to the importance of these ideas in shaping national consciousness and their relevance to contemporary social processes.
During the meetings, speakers provided expert assessments of the socially and nationally significant issues addressed in the book and highlighted the connection between the initiatives put forward by the Head of State and the country’s socio-political and cultural development. The discussions also focused on strengthening constructive dialogue between the state and society, reinforcing public values, increasing the contribution of young people to the country’s development, and promoting civic responsibility.
